The programme of IDFA 2018 includes several titles which are part of IDF activities, including Jan Gebert's successful documentary When the War Comes. Docs For Sale offer nine East Silver films. IDF also prepared Drink with East Doc Platform for invited guests.

Helena Třeštíková is IDFA 2018's Guest of Honor (read an inteview with the director here), but there is much more to look forward to at this year's edition of IDFA.

Several films in the programme went through IDF activities, such as East Doc Platform, and are now part of East Silver catalogue. Ksenia Elyan's How Big Is Galaxy?, the winner of IDFA Forum Award at East Doc Platform in 2018, has the world premiere at IDFA. Jan Gebert's When the War Comes got the first EDP award in 2017 and recently won several festival awards, including Silver Eye Award. Rafał Łysak's Uncoditional Love received nomination for Silver Eye Award 2018. Other remarkable titles include East Silver Caravan's Home Games (dir. Alisa Kovalenko) and To Be Continuted (dir. Ivars Seleckis). Both were also nominated for Silver Eye Award 2018. Anja Kofmel's Chris the Swiss (ES 2018, nomination for SEA 2018), Bernadett Tuza-Ritter's A Woman Captured (ES 2018, nomination for SEA 2018) and Christian Frei's Genesis 2.0 (ES 2018, nomination for SEA 2018) are also on IDFA's programme.
Wongar, directed by Andrijana Stojkovic, got to IDFA's Competition for Mid-Length Documentary, where it has an international premiere. The film was presented at East European Forum and was part of Ex Oriente Film workshop, both in 2006.

IDFA Docs For Sale 2018 include these East Silver titles: How Big is the Galaxy? (dir. Ksenia Elyan), Children Below Deck (dir. Bettina Henkel), King Skate (dir.
