After studying philosophy, history and political science in Freiburg and filmproduction at the HFF Konrad Wolf Berlin, Carsten worked as producer, documentary director and script consultant. Up to now he has produced some award winning documentaries like Man from Midja or A Place Under the Sun (Robert Bosch Coproduction Prize). He produced film The Girl from Gori which was screened at the TIFF Kids Toronto.
