What are we looking for?
Creative feature-length documentary films or factual series projects for Central and Eastern Europe (see the list of eligible countries) in development, production, or postproduction stage, as well as finished short and feature films.
Feature-length projects and series are invited to participate in the 24th edition of the East Doc Forum, the region's oldest and largest central pitch. Participation includes five-day long pitch training and preparation, networking opportunities and individual meetings with invited decision-makers.
You may also attend the East Doc Market which offers the opportunity to meet with international funders, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and festival representatives in the form of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings.
The completed films and rough cuts may be selected for the East Silver Market and take part in pre-arranged individual meetings with international decision-makers, festival selectors and sales representatives.
Within the East Doc Platform programme, one event is dedicated only to Czech documentary projects. During the presentation Czech Docs... Coming Soon, five upcoming feature documentaries will be introduced to an audience of invited representatives of leading film festivals, sales agents, distributors and the wide public.
Selected projects are also eligible for the East Doc Platform Award. The East Doc Platform Jury awards the best project in development and production with the East Doc Platform Award and financial support for further development of the documentary film.
