A Year With Fulbright

A documentary series consisting of ten episodes (á 26 min). We follow selected Czech Fulbright grantees during their stays in the USA and US Fulbright grantees staying in Czech Republic. Each documentary focuses on one scholar. We focus on their personal experiences during their stay - adaptation to a new environment, cultural differences, personal growth or failures, new friends, travelling. We also follow the professional part of their trips. Finally, with some time distance we have observed how this unique experience influenced their professional career as well as their personal lives. The goal of this project is to introduce interesting and talented people - modern heroes - and the work of the Fulbright Commission.
