Kornell

Kornell is a smart and artistic 9 year old boy from Eastern Ukraine who has lived in the Czech Republic for as long as he can remember but when it comes to going to school and speaking Czech, can he feel he belongs? Kornell's father tells him it was different for him when he was growing up, he spent his days playing with friends outside while Kornell spends his hours after school at home with friends 'Lonely pop girl' and 'Svappy', and his dog. The film depicts a fragile identity shaped by two cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
