Synopsis
Vega is a rock band formed by people with mental disabilites from the Institute of Social Care in the north Bohemian town of Skalice. The band soon became so popular that it was invited to play at the festival of Czech and Slovak bands in Chicago, USA. Several months after their return, the band sold out the Lucerna Bar, an unattainable dream for many Czech bands and musicians. However, the great success didn't change the members of Vega. They keep a detached view and child-like crystalline sense of humour. The film follows the gloomy fate of many of the Vega band members and offers a glimpse into their private lives. The musicians from Vega know very well that fame is not the most important thing in life...
