Synopsis
The Chool of the German Empire was established in 1908 for the children of German, Austrian and Czech diplomats and traders working in Budapest. The co-educational school, with twelve grades, first operaterd in Kálmán Street and then in Damjanich Street. After World War I., following the collapse of the Monarchy, Hungarian children were also allowed to enrol.
