Synopsis
Hundreds of thousands of Romanians have chosen Spain as their new country. The illusion of a better life, a civilization unknow to most of them, the chance to rise above the conditions of their native country, all these have acted as suggestive arguments. The destinies of some of the families of these Romanians filmed both in the land they have left and where they reside now, provide the focus of this documentary made a year after the terrorist attacks at Atocha, Madrid, in March 2004. After Spain, Romania suffered the greatest number of casualties, for some of the emigrants the trip that mornig was the last one.
