Synopsis
The film, produced in cooperation between activists and drug users, highlights how the lives of people who use drugs are affected by the global war on drugs, showing individual stories through the course of one day in Crimea, the US, Germany, Nigeria, Indonesia, Hungary and Mexico. We show how very similar behaviours can lead to very different consequences in different countries with different legal regimes, as well as different access to life-saving public health and social services. We also show how people who use drugs actively respond to repressive environments and engage in collective action and activism to change the policies around them and improve the lives of their community.
