Synopsis
Revolution Backstage depicts revolution events in Kiev in December 2013. Movie discovers various levels of occupied Maidan Nezaleznosti, its participants, geography, infrastucture. It captures then-peacefull civic movement at top of its momentum. Also, it anticipates later events of violence and Russian interference. Filmed with low-fi GoPro camera and compact cameras but with a profesional sound, documentary gives a very close look on people standing for their better future. Authors of the movie went to Kiev with very little preparation as there were only scarce of information but managed to be integrated in the revolution crowd.
