Synopsis
Romania ranks among the first ten countries producting wines in the world. A trip on the ways of vineyeards and wine through all Romanian provinces on the plea of a mini series - the film reveals, in fact, the large variety of cultural objectives (fortresses, monasteries, museums, libraries) from the Carpathic-Danubian-Pontic area. Short halts at royal courts, at memorial houses, flashing reversed-time journeys bring on the screen the perfume of a long ago past epoque, as they appear diluted in the chilling atmosophere of old cellars or in the exuberance of a dream overbrimmed from a champagne bottle.
