Synopsis
"Sarma" is a documentary video focusing on one Iraqui exile of Turkish nationality. The meeting with this man was sudden and spontaneous. He invited me on Sarma (my favorite food) and I took my camera with me. We went to his flat and started filming... I was always wondering what kind of energy do these people have to give up everything they had in their homeland, to do through all the perils to come to the "promised Land".
