Synopsis
"Wounds of Afghanistan" is a film about Estonian men currently in their forties. When twenty-year olds, they were sent by Soviet authorities to the Afghan War, where no-one had ever left a winner. This was a war for a foreign country and for unknown purposes. Every man tried to escape - few succeeded. The heroes of this film are the artists Aivar Simson, Simson Seaküla and Leino Juhkam. The first one lost his nerves in the war, but was saved by art, and the second one lost his legs having dreamed about becoming a farmer.
