Synopsis
When you picture a trucker burning rubber up and down the highways of the US, the chances are you probably don’t imagine our protagonists. Still in the prime of life and highly educated in specialised fields, these three characters all left everything behind in their native Serbia to spend their lives in this “last resort profession”.
While racking up thousands of miles drifting coast to coast across Trump’s America, our characters keep in touch with their loved ones back in their homeland. In the confines of their solitary driver’s cabins, they receive news of life unfolding on the other side of the globe, a world that is becoming increasingly abstract and virtual. Each of them has a plan, but are they really headed in a fixed direction or are they just going in circles?
