Synopsis
This film is a part of "Gender Montage: paradigms from post-soviet space" documentary film collection, supported by Network Women`s Program of Open Society Institute and Institute for Social and Gender policy (ISGP).A lyrical portrait of the 64-years-old Janyl Alibekova who lives in the border mountain village of Achy-Kaindy. Janyl continues in the old-age tradition of making felt carpets into which she creatively incorporates national motifs.
