Synopsis

1637 Degrees explores the world of steel manufacturing and recycling in our modern times. It shows a world, where colossal machines seem to be working on their own. Every once in a while we see workers, that are actually still operating everything from behind, but the true protagonists of this short documentary, remain the machines and the beautiful, yet sometimes intimidating places that are shown. At the beginning the audience finds themselves in a snowy mountain landscape, then travilling to various factories and finally ending in a haze of uncertainty.
