Synopsis
The film was inspired by the life and works of one of the most fascinating painters of Polish symbolism - Jacek Malczewski. The camera is wandering through Polish landscapes and coming across modern people. They are talking about their life answering questions different for each age group. Those short interviews and the camera's wandering are mixed with paintings of Jacek Malczewski and information about his life. Guitar music emphasizes the character of film, which can be described as the ballad of life.
