Grandpa Grandpa

I have good memories from my childhood with my grandfather. But as I grew older I felt a bigger distance growing. When I came into my puberty he told me jokes that were pretty offending but he always thought were funny. He made decisions I disagree with and he handles life in a way I sometimes do not understand. It feels as if the distance between us is getting bigger and bigger because of the language barrier and the literal distance, he is here in Czech Republic and I was in the Netherlands all my life. But now I am here I want to reconnect and understand where his intriguing personality comes from.
