Synopsis
"Our Little Poland" is a coming of age story following one year from the life of a group of Japanese students who decide to sign up for the Polish Language and Culture Studies at the Tokyo University. One of the compulsory tasks for second-year students is to stage a play in Polish. In his documentary Matej Bobrik tells about their struggle, not only with the Polish language but also how hard their projections clash with reality. “Our Little Poland” has a bitter-sweet taste of growing up.
