Agrofilm

Agrofilm is an international festival of films and video programmes (hereinafter films) preferably on themes from agriculture and rural development. The objective of the festival is to inform general professional as well as nonprofessional public by audio-visual form about the latest findings of science, research, development and practice in the sphere of agriculture, food industries, nutrition of population, problems in rural areas and their inhabitants, conservation of natural resources and improvement of life quality.
Agrofilm is arranged by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic. The festival is organized by the National Agricultural and Food Centre – Research Institute for Animal Production Nitra. The co-organizers of the international Agrofilm festival are the town Nitra, the Nitra Self-governing Region and other international and Slovak institutions.
