In the study categories of directing, camera and production at the dffb, practical training is the main focus, alongside theory and film history. The study program includes tutor-lead film and video seminars that encourage individual as well as co-operative skills right from the very beginning. Before specialising in their chosen subjects, all students embark on a general basic study programme in all theoretical and practical fields of feature film and documentary film.
