Wrocław Film School Mastershot, entered into the register of non-public art schools of the Ministry of Culture, was established in 1996 and is the oldest private film school in the country. Mastershot is one of the several schools that make up the Film Schools Section at the Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce. During many years of operation, the school has gained a lot of experience in managing film projects. Our productions are supported by the film community, which has traditions in Wrocław. The school has signed several partnership agreements thanks to which it receives help in the production of film etudes. We cooperate with filmmakers, producers, journalists, artists and actors who are also film teachers. In the history of the school, many valuable partners have appeared in various projects, such as the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, the State Higher School of Theater in Wrocław, the Center for Audiovisual Technologies, Wrocław Film Studio, Argomedia Studio, the Polish Filmmakers Association, the National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers, the Polish Film Institute., Papaya Films.
Among the directors working at the school there are, among others, Marek Piestrak, Jan Jakub Kolski, and Michał Rosa.
