KGP Filmproduktion

KGP Filmproduktion produce films for the international festival and arthouse market and develop formats for TV or platforms. Founded in 2001 (as Amour Fou) and active as KGP since 2007, the company is now run by its founder Gabriele Kranzelbinder and Barbara Pichler as producers. KGP stands for artistic ventures as well as cinematic storytelling and craftsmanship. They are interested in filmmakers´ unique visions – beyond all restrictions of genre or format. Their aim is to produce films that are emotionally, aesthetically and intellectually appealing.
KGP work with Austrian and international filmmakers and have a special interest in international co-productions. Their films are seen on the international market, they have been shown at all major festivals and have won numerous awards.
