Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) is a public radio and television company. It is one of the oldest European public broadcasting organizations created to serve the society, establish a public good and contribute to the development of a democratic society. HRT is PBS with a greatest influence in the south east Europe region. It is mainly funded by taxes and advertising revenue. HRT has 3 5000 employees. It’s 4 TV channels, 3 national radio channels, many regional radio channels and internet produces 18000 hours of programmes every year. HRT is a producer/ coproducer of the most of the Croatian films and thus makes a significant part of the Croatian film industry.
