Against Gravity is a film distribution company founded in Poland in 2004. It distributes high-quality documentary and feature films. Its distribution channels include i.a. theaters, public and private television, VOD, home video and internet cinemas. Against Gravity has distributed such titles, as Oscar-nominated "Waltz with Bashir", Werner Herzog's "Encounters at the end of the world", "It might get loud!" and Patrice Chereau's "Persecution".
Against Gravity is also the organizer of Planete Doc Film Festival (formerly known as Planete Doc Review), one of the major documentary film festivals in Europe. Planete Doc is a member of a prestigious Doc Alliance - a partnership which emerged as a result of the co-operative effort of five key European documentary film festivals – CPH:DOX Copenhagen, DOK Leipzig, IDFF Jihlava, Planete Doc and VISIONS DU REEL Nyon.
