The focus of the festival is to screen film and video from NZ filmmakers alongside international work—especially single-author—which might otherwise be unrecognised and unavailable to the general public. At the same time, WUFF aims to cultivate and nurture a local Wellington audience for this work.
Filmmakers, especially, are encouraged to attend and meet with peers. There is no obligation to discuss your work. WUFF happily accepts multiple submissions from a single filmmaker but each submission must be made separately.
There is no fee to submit a film.
