Terra Incognita Films is a Tbilisi-based independent film company, founded in 2019 by three friends - Nato Sikharulidze, Giorgi Mukhadze, and Giorgi Kobalia. They came together after working in different film industry fields and established a company to develop and produce projects for the national and international market. The company also owns "Terra Incognita Rental" for equipment.
Terra Incognita Films' primary focus is on creating author films, intending to find and develop new, exceptional voices. Their priority is to offer new talent ways to produce and distribute their work and make their vision accessible to worldwide audiences. Their upcoming films include the feature documentaries SUNNY by Keti Machavariani (recipient of IDFA Bertha Fund 2020) and WhenYou're 17 by Giorgi Mukha.
