Soleil Film was founded in 2008 by Filip Antoni Malinowski, Jürgen Karasek and Alice Karasek as a creative collective for film production. Our goal is to produce films with high artistic standards but trying to reach a broader audience at the same time. Soleil Film has completed 20 films in the fields of fiction films, documentaries and short films for the cinema/festival or TV market, and many other projects are in production and development. Our focus is on documentaries – especially films with political and social themes. We delve into microcosms, tell small and personal stories. But we also tackle the macrocosms, want to ask ourselves bigger and more complex questions.
