Studio Virc

Studio Virc is a film & TV production house based in Slovenia, first established in 1992. Success with our two films “Houston, We Have a Problem!” and “A New Home” In 2016 took us firmly into the arena of international co-productions and put us on the map including A-list festivals and the Oscars race. We have produced a list of feature films, documentaries and TV content, mostly as the delegate producer and co-produced so far with 11 countries worldwide. Our work has been supported by various national funds, transnational funders like Creative Europe Media and Eurimages as well as several broadcasters & platforms. Our animation film Granny’s Sexual Life by Urška Djukić & Emilie Pigeard recently won the European Film Award.
