Rome Film Fest

Rome Film Festival aims to raise awareness of and promote international cinema in all its forms: as art, entertainment, and as an industry, in the spirit of freedom and tolerance. Along with the meetings, master classes, retrospectives, special events, and re-editions of classic films, the Rome Film Fest will feature an Official Selection of a maximum of thirty-five films, from the best independent cinema to genre productions, from the work of renowned auteurs to that of upcoming young talents, from blockbuster films to animation films, documentaries and the visual arts. At the end of each screening, the audience may vote for a film that will compete for the BNL People’s Choice Award, in collaboration with the Fest’s time-honoured Main Partner, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. As an independent sidebar, Alice nella città will present a programme for children and young adults, with around sixteen films. Festival organizes also an industry programme called MIA (co-financing market, videolibrary, market screenings).
