MakeDox

MakeDox, the festival for socially engaged cinema and documentary film was established in Skopje in 2010. MakeDox Festival has the mission to share and promote creative documentary films and art. What started as an enthusiastic intention of a group of documentary film lovers and activists in only four years time has grown into a nationally and regionally-recognized film happening with over 80 film screenings per year. The Festival is accompanied by exhibitions, debates, workshops, master classes and music events. Apart from its unique film program, MakeDox has become widely known for it’s authentic and magical open air screening venue- the 16th Century Caravan Serai- Kurshumli An.
