Makabor Studio Ltd

Makabor studio is an independent film production company, established by Kata Oláh director-producer and Sándor Csukás, cinematographer 10 years ago. They’ve produced several short and mid length documentary films and short fictions as well. Their last mid length documentary and short fiction film was nominated for the best documentary and short film of Hungary by the Hungarian Film Academy at 2016. Sándor Csukás was awarded by the prestigious Béla Balázs price at 2002. He is the head of the film faculty at the Metropolitan University in Budapest. Besides being a couple for more than 20 years their complementary skills allow them to become a professional team as well. The main aim of them is to make films that share a deep interest in human values and fight against prejudice.
