Julia Grauberger was born in Saint Petersburg in 1981 and studied animation and directing at the Film University KONRAD WOLF in Babelsberg. In her films, she works with a mix of documentary and animation with feature film elements. In November 2015, her short film "My magical nightmare" in the RBB in exactly this form combination and one year later in 2016 in her short film "The Violin". Julia Grauberger is also known as the front-runner of the band "Lila von Grau" and writes the soundtracks to her films. She lives and works in Berlin.
