Lorenzo Cioffi born in Naples in 1979, he graduated in History of Cinema at University Roma Tre.
He continued his education attending a year-long class in Documentary Cinema at Drop Out School in Milan. Then he worked in Paris as production assistant. In 2011, he founded Ladoc, since then he has been producing and directing documentaries for cinema and Tv. He attended Eurodoc programme in 2016, Berlinale Talents 2017 and Jihlava Emerging Producers 2018.
Among the documentaries he produced: Napolislam by Ernesto Pagano (IDFA; 2015); The Nature of Things by Laura Viezzoli (2016; Locarno Film Festival), Our road by Piero Li Donni (2020; IDFA); Femicidio by Nina Maria Paschalidou (2022; Thessaloniki Doc Festival); Infinito by Matteo Parisni (2022; Festa del Cinema di Roma)
