Tomáš Pertold graduated from FAMU with a master's degree in production. He works as a producer of feature films and documentaries at Perfilm.
His first feature film, March to May, was premiered in the Proxima competition at the 58th KVIFF, and received a Special Jury Mention. The film also won the Czech Film Critics Award for Discovery of the Year and was nominated for the Czech Lion Awards in the Best Film and Best Director categories.
Pertold is currently working on several feature films such as God Break the Door, In Good Faith and Because I Have to. His projects have been presented internationally, including Les Arcs, New Horizons and Thessaloniki Crossroads. Pertold is a graduate of prestigious programs - Midpoint Feature Launch, Rotterdam Lab and ACE Training Days.
