Barry Gene Murphy is a filmmaker with the award winning creative studio Anagram, with 20 years experience in commercial animation, special fx, documentary animation and filmmaking andImmersive Media. With Anagram he was involved in the conception and creative aspects of the interactive voice experience Make Noise produced by the BBC. This premiered at the Venice Biennale's VR Island in 2018 and was nominated for the Future of Storytelling Bridging the Divide Award. His most recent VR project made with co director May Abdalla, Goliath: Playing with Reality a story about immersive realities and mental illnesses has received a number of international awards and accolades, such as The Grand Jury Prize for VR at the 78th Venice Biennale.
