Ondrej Beranek (1979) graduated from Prague Academy of Performing Arts and established Punk Film Production in 2003 with two classmates. Ondrej is a producer of feature films and documentaries, he prepares a fairy tale The Magic Quill, directed by Marek Najbrt (Czech/Slovak coproduction). He´s made four cinema documentaries. In 2010 Ondrej was a producer of the social and educational project We Did Not Give Up, incl. Memory of Nation Award TV live. In the distribution he produced the DVD project “Jara Cimrman Editions” and sold 1,400,000 DVDs and issued in 2012, for the first time in the Czech Republic, the most famous films by Karel Zeman on DVD. In the same year Ondřej Beranek became a co-founder of the Karel Zeman Museum in Prague, opened in 2012, 250.000 visitors in five years.
