Director and film producer, president of Apple Film Production. One of the most experienced polish producers, his productions gave him appreciation in the Europe and all over the world. He is directing quite rarely but his most famous achievement as a producer is documentary „The Photographer”, which he has directed. „The Photographer” was awarded a number of international film awards (Grand Prix Fipa D'or, Prix Planete - Biarritz ’99, Grand Prix Joris Ivens VPRO - IDFA Amsterdam ’98, Prix Europa - Berlin ’98, Special Mention - Pessac ’98,
Top Ten – Mediaforum Conference – Kolonia ’98, Best Documentary Award - Double Take - Durham ’99, Press Jury Prize - Balticum Film & Tv Festival - Bornholm ’99, Best Documentary - TV Festival- Banff ’99, Bavarian Television Prize ’99, Adolf Grimme Prize 2000).
Jabłoński a graduate of the Directing at the Film Academy in Lodz, has worked by the biggest films of polish. He was the producer and director of the first Polish independent documentary film „The visit of an Elderly Lady” (1986).
In 1990 he has founded Apple Film Production, which to date has produced more than 21 documentaries, 10 feature films („Street Games”, „Sekal Has to Die”, „The Auricle”, „I’m looking at you Mary”, „Sucker Season”, „Bellissima”, „The Spring to Come”, „My fried chicken”) and many tele-plays. Most of theses productions were co-produced with Polish Television, Canal+, WDR, ARTE and other International producers.
Organizer of Polish Film Awards and a founder of Independent Film Foundation, created to promote polish film and their authors in Poland and abroad. He is a member of the European Film Academy and the Board of the European Producers Club.
