producer, script writer

Sławomir Rogowski has been doing film and television production since 1995; prior to that he was a member of the Cinematography Committee. Interruption in company’s activity (1999-2002) was caused by owner’s decision to take up a position of Film Agency Director at TVP S.A. In this period Rogowski produced many documentaries and TV programmes of high artistic value. Furthermore, Rogowski was one of the initiators of the film festivals in Kazimierz Dolny and in Ustronie. These events were accompanied by numerous concerts and other artistic events, most of them produced for TVP2. Currently, Zespół Filmowy Rozwój focuses its activity on feature films, e.g.: “Matka Teresa od kotów” / “Mother Theresa of Cats” directed and written by Paweł Sala (in postproduction phase); “Kacopiryna czyli powrót taty” written by Jecek Wasilewski and Sławomir Rogowski, directed by Adam Bortnowski (in preproduction); “Żołnierz” (Władysław Broniewski’s biography) written by Krzysztof Teodor Toeplitz and directed by Filip Bajon (in development). Moreover, shooting for documentary “Miranda wraca do Polski” by Jacek Wasilewski and Albert Jawłowski is planned to begin this autumn. He is now member of National Broadcasting Council in Poland.
