Author/director, Viktor Oszkár NAGY graduated as a film director at the University of Theatre and Film, Budapest in 2007. His diploma work Father’s Acre (78 min., feature film) was awarded with the foreign critics’ Gene Moskowitz prize at the 40th Hungarian Film Week in 2009. In the same year the film was nominated to the European Film Awards, and was in competition at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
Since then he prooved his talent as a director in several film genres: He directed one episode of the popular TV-series Logbook (production for MTV, Hungary), his 26 minute documentary film Bernadett & Sanju (an episode of 3Weddings documentary series) has gained recognition on numerous festivals (41th Hungarian Film Week, 50th Krakow Film Festival, Hungarian Doc Jam, Zagreb 2010, 7th Verzio International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, Pécs 2010 European Capital of Culture Prize, 8th Docudays UA), as well as Caught Between Two Worlds a 67 minutes documentary, produced for HBO,Central Europe in 2010.
