Barbara Pichler holds an MA in Film Studies from the British Film Institute, University of London. She has worked in the film industry since the mid '90s as a curator, writer, translator and lecturer. From June 2008 to June 2015, she was the director of "Diagonale. Festival of Austrian Film". In May 2016, Barbara started working as producer and CEO of KGP Filmproduktion, whose distinctive auteur films are shown in both cinemas and international festival distribution as well as television.
