I am a documentary filmmaker, social anthropologist and development specialist, active at the intersection of arts, sciences, activism and sustainability. I am a co-founder of Anthropictures and a fellow of Walter Benjamin Kolleg, University of Bern.
My latest films SOLARIS (2015) and IN THE DEVIL'S GARDEN (2018) focused on the consumption culture in Estonia and the question of decolonisation in the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. In 2020, I finished the first feature documentary on the unfolding water crisis in Jordan. LIVING WATER later travelled to Ji.hlava, Visions du Réel, CPH:DOX, Movies that Matter, DokuFest and Seminci, among others.
In 2022, I was invited to the Berlinale Talents, and, currently, I am developing a new project ARABIA EXTRAEA.
