Jean-Philippe Raymond began his career in documentary films as a cinematographer, editor and director before creating his independent company Hibou Production and producing more than 40 author-driven documentary films. He directed Itineraries (1998) on the alternative life-choices of neo-rural communities repopulating deserted rural areas in the French Pyrenees Mountains.Other directing credits: Between the Lines (2009), Men and Birds of Prey (1992), One Day at the Zen Temple (1991).
