Andrzej Titkow - a poet, a film director, a film producer and a scriptwriter, had born in Warsaw, Poland, March 24th 1946. Graduated the Film Directing Department of the State Higher Film, TV and Theatre School in Lodz, with M.A. degree in 1972. Ever since he made his debut in 1971, he has had to his name over 70 documentaries and several TV feature films including a drama serial, a cinema feature, a few stage drama performances and TV spectacles. He is also an author of two Volumes of Verse.Since November 2004 to July 2006 he was a Deputy Head of the Documentary Department in TVP 1. Since 1998 he has been teaching documentary film making in Polish High Schools. He was an Art Director of International Film Festival “Jewish Motifs” in Warsaw (2005-2010). His documentaries were warmly reviewed by most important Polish newspapers and took part in a numerous film festivals and screenings in Poland and abroad. He is a laureate of many film festival prizes.
