After a fifteen-year career in film and audiovisual production in Paris, Martine Vidalenc founded the French independent production company MIDRALGAR (Marmitafilms) in 2010 in Bordeaux.
The company produces documentary, animation and fiction films, both nationally and internationally. Over the years, MIDRALGAR has distinguished itself with original feature films as well as creative hybrid works. It has also produced successful audiovisual formats.
Recent international film co-productions include Alexandru Belc's METRONOM (Best Director, Un Certain Regard Cannes 2022), produced with Strada Film (Romania), and LES DÉMONS D'ARGILE (Competition Contrechamp Annecy 2022), Nuno Beato's first animated feature, co-produced with Portugal and Spain.
