Director Ruba Atiyeh comes from Lebanon. Initially, she worked with theatres; later, she studied documentary production in London. Today she lectures on film-making at the Lebanese University. Since 2003, she has been making films for Al-Jazeera and other platforms. In her theatre and film work, she reflects on the identity of the second generation of immigrants.
