Nadiya Rodkina was born in Ukraine, in the city of Dnipro, to a family of athletes. She obtained her master’s degree in Fine Arts from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Poland) in 2012. She worked as a 3D graphic designer and animator for several years, and drawing storyboards was her first step into the film world. As of 2019, she has been studying directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz.
