Marcus Vetter's (*1967) previous feature documentary "My father, the Turk" won several international awards and was screened at the Joris Ivens Competition (IDFA) last year. His film "The Tunnel" on a famous escape of East's Germans through a legendary tunnel in Berlin in the 1950's has been one of the best- bestselling German TV documentaries and last year was presented on The Sundance Channel in the U.S.. Marcus has directed numerous prime time documentaries and received the Adolf Grimme Prize three times. He has a background of Economics and Media Communication with studies in Tübingen and Madrid.
