Anita Natmessnig was born in 1963 in Klagenfurt, Austria. She studied Lutheran theology and art history, and had training in psychotherapy. Over the years she gained experience in TV journalism and the making of TV documentaries. She specializes in documentary filmmaking and lives in Vienna. Time to Go is her first feature-length documentary.
