Per K. Kirkegaard has graduated as an film editor from the National Film School of Denmark. He is one of the most established editors in the Danish film industry. He has edited numerous critically acclaimed documentaries and feature films. Including The Cave, which was nominated for an Oscar for best feature Documentary. Among his titles is the feature film Accused, winner of the European Film Academy's Fassbinder Discovery Prize. And Armadillo, for which he was awarded an Emmy for best editing. SUME - THE SOUND OF A REVOLUTION, a Greenlandic documentary, was selected to the Berlin International Film Festival. Chuck Norris vs Communism', was selected for Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Documentary competition in 2015. Per's latest film, the feature film BREIF HISTORY OF A FAMILY premiered at this years Sundance. In 2019, he became a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences. Per is a guest tutor of the Ex Oriente Film training workshop.
